- 1 loaf French bread
- 1/2 cup salted butter (softened)
- 4-5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven and prep bread: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Carefully slice the loaf of French bread in half lengthwise and place both halves cut-side up on a large baking sheet.
Make garlic butter: In a medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup of softened butter, 4-5 minced garlic cloves, and 2 tbsp of chopped parsley. Mix everything until it is creamy and well combined. Spread on bread: Generously spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the bread. Make sure you cover the entire surface, reaching all the way to the crusty edges.
Top with cheese: Sprinkle 1/2 cup mozzarella, 1/2 cup cheddar, and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese over the buttered bread. Feel free to add a little extra if you love cheese!
Bake until golden: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes. The bread is done when the cheese is bubbly and beautifully melted with golden-brown spots.
