- 2 pounds broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 3/4 cups half & half
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 sleeve butter crackers like Ritz
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a medium baking dish with cooking spray.
Boil broccoli for 3-4 minutes until bright green. Drain well.
Make cheese sauce by melting butter, whisking in flour and seasonings, adding half & half, and stirring in most of the cheese.
