Ingredients

  • 1 round (5.2 ounces) garlic & fine herbs Boursin cheese
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 medium red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 12 ounces uncooked bow tie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh basil leaves (optional)
  • Freshly grated parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F: Grab your 9x13-inch baking dish—no need to grease. Just get it ready for all the tasty goodness coming up!
  • Add cheese and veggies: Place the Boursin cheese right in the center of the dish. Surround it with cherry tomatoes, sliced red onion, and minced garlic.
  • Drizzle and season: Pour olive oil evenly over everything. Sprinkle dried oregano, kosher salt, and black pepper. Mix gently with a spoon to coat the veggies.
  • Bake for 30 minutes: Slide the baking dish into the oven. Roast until tomatoes burst and cheese is soft and creamy—set a timer for 30 minutes.
  • Boil pasta: While the dish bakes, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add bow tie pasta and cook until al dente, about 10–11 minutes.
  • Combine everything: Carefully remove the dish from the oven. Stir the creamy cheese and veggies. Add the cooked pasta and sliced basil; mix until combined.
  • Garnish and serve: Sprinkle freshly grated parmesan on top. Add more basil if you’d like. Serve warm and dig in while it’s creamy and fresh!

Notes

  • Use room temperature Boursin for smooth mixing.
  • Don’t overbake the cheese—it should melt, not brown.
  • This dish tastes best fresh, but leftovers can be tasty too!
  • Add a splash of milk when reheating to refresh the sauce.
  • Great with a side salad or garlic bread!
